PassiveTotal Two Factor Authentication

PassiveTotal uses Google Authenticator to provide both community and enterprise users with Two Factor Authentication (2FA) on their accounts.

How to enable 2FA on your PassiveTotal Account

To enable 2FA users should go to their account settings page: 

Here under your account profile, you will now find the ability to enable two factor authentication:

To use two factor authentication with RiskIQ PassiveTotal, download the Google Authenticator app for iOS or Android on your mobile device and scan the QR code to enable the service.

Once the barcode is scanned you will see a new entry in Google Authenticator for your RiskIQ PassiveTotal account titled PassiveTotal.  You will use this code in conjunction with your password to log into PassiveTotal going forward.

To disable Two Factor Authentication or change the code click the links below the barcode:

Note: If you disable and re-enable 2FA or change the two factor code, you will have to re-scan the QR code using Google Authenticator for 2FA to work properly with your account.
